Khaytovych Alexander Borisovich

After the graduation of Irkutsk medical institute in 1971 he works in anti-plague system. Now Khaytovych A.B. - the Chief of the Ukrainian Anti-plague station of Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Simultaneously he is the non-staff main expert of Ministry of Health of AR Crimea on a speciality of bacteriology (since 1997), the non-staff consultant-expert of the Standing commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Autonomous republic Crimea for social questions and health protection (2000-2006), the member of the Board of the Ukrainian scientific medical society of microbiologists, parasitologists and immunologists named after D.V.Zabolotnyj and the Chairman of Crimean unit UMNOMEP (since 1999) . He carries out the big work on function of the expert of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine concerning observance of the convention of prohibition of biological weapons. As the expert of Ministry of Health of Ukraine concerning prophylaxis of especially dangerous infection, bioterrorism problems, he was repeatedly involved for an appraisal of a situation, working out of programs.

In 1986 Khaytovych A.B. has defended the Candidate's dissertation on a speciality "microbiology", in 1998 - DPhil, in 2002 he has been given the rank of the associate professor, in 2004 - professor, in 2008 - the full member (academician) of the Crimean academy of sciences. He has the higher qualifying categories of the bacteriologist, the epidemiologist, the health professional.

Since January, 1999 Khaytovych A.B. in combination works on chair of microbiology of the Crimean state medical university (CSMU) named after S. I. Georgievsky, now - on a post of the professor. From December, 1999 till September, 2001 he was is the chairman of problem commission of CSMU on “Microbiology and infectious diseases”, now - he is the member of the problem commission.

Khaytovych A.B. combines practical activities with research and pedagogical work - lecturing, carrying out of a practical training on the general and particular microbiology.

The sphere of scientifically-practical interests - questions of microbiology, epidemiology, especially dangerous infections. Under his management 1 dissertational work is executed, the postgraduate study works - 1 post-graduate student on a speciality epidemiology which performs dissertational work now studies. Results of scientific researches have found representation in more than 250 publications, more which half are published in the international and domestic rating magazines, he is the author of 7 inventions, 5 monographies. Activly participates in the international and state conferences, workshops, meetings. As the expert from Ukraine in 2004 he has made two reports in the United Nations (Geneva, Switzerland).

Experience of practical work and organising abilities are realised by Khaytovych A.B. in localisation of the locuses of a cholera and other dangerous infection, at earthquake in Armenia and during accident on the Chernobyl atomic power station.

Khaytovych A.B. participates in methodical support of practical activities of medicoprophylactic institutions and sanitary epidemiological stations (SES), is the co-author more than 30 methodical documents approved by Ministry of Health of Ukraine and Russia. The developed conception of computer support of epidemiological surveillance became a theoretical basis for building of the automated system of sanitary-and-epidemiologic surveillance for infectious diseases in Crimea which analogues are not present in Ukraine. Some of the Khaytovych's scientific achievements are implementation in Ukraine a genetical method (PCR) of researche in diagnostics of especially dangerous infection, receptions of the copyright to development „Monitoring system in epidemiology by the use of geographical information technology”.

Khaytovych A.B. combines organising abilities, deep scientific knowledge and practical skills. He is considerate and benevolent to people, responsible - to work, serious and strict - to educational process, allowing students to study bases of microbiology, virology and immunology more deeply and intelligently.

By the decree of President of Ukraine from June, 16th, 2009 Khaytovych A.B. is appropriated the honoured rank "The Deserved doctor of Ukraine".

Zinych (Кiriyakova) Liliya Sergeevna

In 1996 she has graduated Donetsk state medical university named after M.Gorky on a speciality of hygiene, sanitary science and epidemiology.

In 1996-2000 Кiriyakova L.S. worked in the Bakhchsarai regional sanitary-and-epidemiologic station as the epidemiologist. In 2000 she has passed to work in the Ukrainian anti-plague station (for that moment the Crimean anti-plague station) of Ministry of Health of Ukraine on a post of the epidemiologist where since 2001 manages epidemiological laboratory.

Кiriyakova L.S. is co-author about 50 scientific publications on epidemiology, prophylaxis and epidemiological supervision of expecially dangerous infection. She is awarded by the Certificate of honour of Ministry of Health of Ukraine (May, 2007).

Under the guidance of professor Khaytovych A.B. she has defended the Candidate's dissertation «Epidemiological and ecological features of 7-th choleras pandemic in Ukraine.» (April, 2007). Кiriyakova L.S. has the higher qualifying category on a speciality «epidemiology».

Since 2007 in combination she works as the epidemiology lecturer on chair of infectious diseases at the Crimean state medical university named after S. I. Georgievsky.

Chirny Vladimir Ivanovich

Vladimir Ivanovich Chirny graduated from natural sciences department of the Simferopol State University named after M.V. Frunze on a speciality «zoology and botany» in 1977. After finishing to be conscript of USSR Army, since August 1979 he has worked as the zoologist of Crimean Anti-Plague Station of Ministry of Health of the USSR (since September, 1991 – of Ministry of Health of Ukraine), and since January, 2006 he is the head of laboratory of FocalEcosystem Monitoring Laboratory. V.I. Chirny had special training on especially dangerous infections on the base of Central Asia and Kazakhstan Research Anti-Plague Institute (Alma-Ata) in 1980-1981, and of Rostov-on-Don Research Anti-Plague Institute in 1982.

He took personal and immediate part in work of antiepidemic units in natural foci of plague of Kazakhstan Republic, other especially dangerous zoonoses of bacterial and virus aetiology in Ukraine, and also in containment and liquidation of the cholera epidemic in Crimea Autonomous Republic during the autumn, 1994.

V.I. Chirny is the author more than 80 scientific papers on various aspects of medical zoology and epizootology of especially dangerous infectious diseases. He was included into the List of leading experts of Ukraine on especially dangerous infections (September, 1991), awarded by a Badge «To High Achiever of Public Health» of Ministry of Health of USSR (June, 1991), by the Certificate of honour of Ministry Council of Crimea Autonomous Republic (December, 2001), by the Certificate of honour of Ministry of Health of Ukraine (October, 2008), he has Dignity «The Honoured Public Health Worker of Crimea Autonomous Republic» (June, 2007).

Pidchenko Nadezhda Nikiforovna

Pidchenko N.N. has graduated the Dnepropetrovsk state medical institute in 1981 on a speciality hygiene, sanitary science and epidemiology. As the bacteriologist she works since 1981, at the Ukrainian anti-plague station - since 1995 She has the higher qualifying category.

Since 1999 she is responsible for a collection of cultures of anti-plague station which has received the status National by the decision of the Cabinet council from 22.09.04. Since 2008 on the base of the National collection of the Ukrainian anti-plague station the branch of the Depositary of a museum of pathogenic microorganisms for person of Official body «Institute of epidemiology and infectious diseases named after L.V.Gromashevsky» of Academy of medical sciences of Ukraine where deposition of reference cultures of pathogenic vibrios is planned was opened. Throughout a number of years she carries out work with databases: "Biological properties of cultures of Vibrio cholerae O1, secured in Ukraine from objects of an external environment"; "Biological properties of cultures Vibrio cholerae O1, secured in Ukraine from people"; "Biological properties of cultures of Vibrio cholerae not O1, secured in Ukraine from people"; "Biological properties of Yersinia, stored in a collection of the Ukrainian anti-plague station", and also the publication of the annual circular "Biological properties of Vibrios cholerae secured in Ukraine".

Pidchenko N.N. is the senior lecturer of courses of preattestative training for laboratorians-bacteriologist of medicoprophylactic institutions, she is responsible for carrying out of annual seminars on laboratory diagnostics of pathogenic vibrios for bacteriologist of departments of expecially dangerous infections of of Ukraine. She is the co-author of several methodical guidelines and Sanitary regulations.

Shvarsalon Natalia Afanas'evna

  In 2004 has graduated the National medical university named after And. And. Bogomolets, Kiev, faculty – medical-prophylactic. From 2004 to 2005 was trained in internship on epidemiology, on a base of Central Sanitary-and-Epidemiologic Station of Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Kiev. In 2005 passed specialization on bacteriology. From 2005 to 2006 worked as doctor-epidemiologist of Central Sanitary-and-Epidemiologic Station of Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

From 2006 works as the doctor-bacteriologist of the Ukrainian anti-plague station.

Shvarsalon Nikolay Konstantinovich

Shvarsalon N.K. has graduated 1st medical faculty of the Crimean state medical university named after S.I.Gergievsky in 2004. From August, 2004 till June, 2005 he was trained in internship on a speciality "epidemiology" on the base of the Ukrainian anti-plague station where since August, 2005 he works as the epidemiologist.

The sphere of scientific and practical interests - the territory sanitary protection from contamination and spread of expecially dangerous infectious diseases, use of geographical information systems in an epidemiology, modern computer technologies. He is the co-author about 20 scientific publications.

Since December, 2007 Shvarsalon N.K. is trained in correspondence postgraduate study on a speciality "epidemiology" on chair of microbiology, virology and immunology of the Crimean state medical university named after S.I.Gergievsky under the guidance of professor Khaytovych A.B. Dissertational work devoted problems of improvement of sanitary protection of state territory taking into account modern tendencies of global epidemiological supervision.

Pavlenko Alexandra Leonidovna

Pavlenko A.L. has graduated the Crimean state medical university named after S.I.Gergievsky in 2000. In 2001 has passed primary specialisation in "Therapy". In 2001-2005 she worked as infectionist in Belozersk Teritorial medical associations, the Kherson range. In 2002-2005 worked as the doctor-therapist of an extragenital pathology of pregnant women. In 2005 has received the certificate of the doctor-expert on a speciality "Infectious diseases", the Zaporozhye medical academy of postgraduate education. In 2005-2009 worked as the assistant at chair of hygiene and bionomics of Crimean state medical university named after S.I.Gergievsky. In 2007 in the Kharkov medical academy of postgraduate education she has received the certificate of the doctor-expert on a speciality "Epidemiologija". Since 2008 on the present she is the infectionist of polyclinic department of educational-scientific medical complex of Crimean state medical university. Since July, 2009 works as the epidemiologist of the Ukrainian antiplague station.

The co-author more than 10 scientific publications on epidemiology, infectious diseases and therapy.

Barinova (Butseva) Olga Jurevna

Butseva O.J. has graduated biological faculty of Tavrical national university named after V.I.Vernadsky on a speciality "zoology" in 2004. In 2006 she has taken specialisation in the Kharkov medical academy of postgraduate education on a speciality "bacteriology".

At station she works since 2004 on a post of the laboratorian with the higher not medical education. She is engaged in identification of presence of a virus of an avian influenza in a biomaterial, recovery of pathogenic vibrioflora from objects of an external environment, is responsible for work of database «The biodiversity of cultures secured of objects of environment by Ukrainian anti-plague station».
